Processing of multiple types of components, with welding grinding equipment compatible with robotic deburring dual-process technology

2026-10-28 views:7

The mechanical processing plant produces a wide variety of products, including welded parts that require cleaning of weld scars, as well as machined and cast components that need robotic deburring. Purchasing two separate sets of automated equipment is costly and occupies factory space. A multi-functional weld grinding device can support switching between two processes with a single unit.

This set of weld grinding equipment is equipped with a tool quick-change plate, allowing the robot to automatically switch between different end-grinding tools. It uses assembled abrasive belt grinding wheels to treat weld scars; by changing the floating spindle and file, it completes deburring of workpiece edges and openings, eliminating the need for manual tool assembly and disassembly.

The flexible end effector is equipped with force control compensation, enabling it to adaptively conform to the workpiece surface regardless of weld height variations or fluctuations in casting blank dimensions, thereby preventing excessive cutting and damage to the workpiece. The entire system includes dust collection and safety protection enclosures, meeting workshop environmental and safe production requirements.

Ideal for small and medium-sized mechanical processing plants, this system is designed for small-batch, multi-variety order production. Workpieces require only a single clamping operation, enabling continuous welding grinding and robotic deburring processes, thereby reducing positioning errors caused by multiple clamping. The equipment allows easy production changes with one-click adjustment of process parameters, significantly enhancing production line flexibility and lowering automation investment costs.
